I do not have "Execute SQL Task"

in my control flow items toolbox. Anyone know of how I can get it installed?

Right-click on the toolbox.

Select Choose items...

Select SSIS Control Flow items tab

Can you see 'Execute SQL Task' in the list? Is it checked?

-Jamie

|||It's not there...which is odd. The only reason I know I'm missing it is because my boss has it on his pc.|||Do you even have SSIS installed?|||

Oh, I need to install SSIS. Yes, SSIS is installed. In my control data flow toolbox items (Execute items only) I have Execute DTS 2000 Package Task, Execute Package Task and Execute Process Task. No Execute SQL Task. This may go without saying but this is in visual studio.

In my SQL Server Directory, Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Tasks, I have Microsoft.SqlServer.SQLTask.dll which I believe is the the task I'm needing

|||

If the task does not show up as an item that can be added to the toolbox, then you should un-install and re-install the SSIS parts of SQL server.

I cannot get DBMAIL to work

This is the only thing holding up our deployment of SQL 2005.
I configured it and sent a "test message" with the "send test email"
control, and it works instantly.
When I send an email using procedure, nothing happens.
The log shows status as "sent". No errors. But no email is delivered.
I use the same email address as the test email. I don't get it.
EXEC msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail
@.profile_name= N'test',
@.recipients= N'myemailaddress',
@.Subject = N'test subject',
@.body= N'the body';
This returns "mail sent". But it is never delivered.
Like I said, the "test email" with the same profile works.We found the problem, the recipient had a bad rule on their end!

The only thing I think is a pain with it would be that when you generate the
script for an object, the drop statement isn't there. But it's not a
show-stopper, and you'll find that many of the features really help.

Do you mean Intellisense? Not built-in, but SQL Prompt (free download)
will give you that capability. Works with the 2000 client tools as well.

I am not able to load two different images dynamically in an Image control

HI,

Base on pagenumber, i need to display a particular image in first page and another image in next page.

there are two images and has to be displayed alternatively in the pages.

but, it is displaying only one image everytime.

I am using Exteranl and URL based concept and using parameters to pass the values from the front end to the report

One more thing I did was, I place two image controls and passing the URL through two parameters having the URL as the value.

but still the both the image controls display only one image.

it should be possible to use expression to show image conditionally.

set image value property to expression, for example, for URL image:

=iif(<Some condition>,
"http://localhost/Reports/images/48folderopen.jpg",
"http://localhost/Reports/images/16prop.gif")

|||

Hi,

I am using an expression.

One more thing I am getting the path thru the Parameters.

I have two different Paths one for customer logo and another is company logo

and i have used the parameters in iif conditon.

example: iif((Globals!PageNumber) Mod 2 = 0,Parameters!RgLogoPath.Value,Parameters!CustLogoPath.Value)

one more thing i tried is

place two image controls in Page Header and in the Value i used expression and for both the images i gave Parameters!RgLogoPath.Value and Parameters!CustLogoPath.Value respectively. when i saw the preview , only one image was displayed in both image controls

|||Is this happening in page headers only? Does it work differently if put in the report body?
